Marquette – Matinee Movie Series will offer a screening of “Hidden Figures” on Tuesday, June 20 at 12:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
In this 2016 movie based on a true story, three African American mathematicians, Dorothy Vaughan, Mary Jackson, and Katherine Johnson, serve as “human computers,” calculating the launch of John Glenn into space and ensuring his safe return. This historical drama is rated PG and runs 2 hours 7 minutes. Bring your own lunch and enjoy the movie in a dinner theater setting. Closed captioning will be on to ensure access for all
