Calendar – Films/Documentaries – Summer Cinema to Screen “The Lorax” – Aug. 30

Marquette – Summer Cinema will host a screening of Dr. Seuss’s ’ “The Lorax”” on Thursday, August 30 at 4:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library..

The 2012 film is based the beloved 1971 classic children’s book that serves as an ecological warning that still rings true today amidst the dangers of clear-cutting, pollution, and disregard for the earth’s environment. It is rated PG and runs for 86 minutes.

Summer Cinema features delicious library cafe specials by Tu Kaluthia available for purchase and recently released feature films in a dinner theater setting.
