Marquette – Vintage Cinema will present a screening of “Mutiny on the Bounty,” starring Charles Laughton and Clark Gable, on Monday, October 5 at 1:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
The adventure/drama is about Fletcher Christian, the ship’s lieutenant on the HMS Bounty, who successfully leads a revolt against the ruthless Captain Bligh.
However, Bligh returns one year later bent on avenging his captors.
Released in 1935, “Mutiny on the Bounty” is shown in the original black and white and runs for 132 minutes.
