Marquette, Mi.– In honor of Earth Day, the Marquette Food Co-Op is hosting a Documentary Screening/Panel Discussion of “Wasted!” at the Ore Dock Brewing Co. this Wednesday, April 25 from 6:00- 9:00 p.m.
This event is intended to highlight the issue of food waste and to give attendees an opportunity to learn what local businesses and organizations are doing to address it. Attendees will also learn how to reduce their own carbon footprint and keep waste out of the landfill.
- Before and after the screening, visit/learn about participating businesses and organizations.
- Velodrome Coffee Company will be serving coffee and Simply Superior Catering & Events/NMU Dining will be offering samples of food items.
This event is free and open to the public! All ages are welcome, but there is some adult language in the film.
