Calendar – Films/Documentaries – Film Club Screening “The Verdict” – Nov. 15

Marquette – The Peter White Public Library Film Club will offer a public screening of the modern classic film “”The Verdict”” on Thursday, November 15 at 1 p.m. in the Community Room of the library.

This court room drama tells the story of a down-on-his-luck alcoholic lawyer who pushes a medical malpractice case in order to improve his own situation, but discovers along the way that he is doing the right thing.

A five time Oscar nominee, “The Verdict” was released in 1982, is rated R and runs for 129 minutes. Light refreshments will be served.
