Marquette – Charu Sharma, founder of Go Against the Flow, a movement that inspires women to take intelligent risks, trust their vision and develop leadership skills to forge their own trail in the world of startups, will screen her film by the same name on Friday, October 7 at 6 p.m. in Mead Auditorium in the West Science Building at Northern Michigan University.
Sharma built two startup companies in her college dorm room before joining LinkedIn as a marketing solutions campaign planner. The Go Against the Flow project includes a book, an ongoing series published in The Huffington Post and a film. The documentary relays the wisdom of top women entrepreneurs who share their stories of building a business from scratch and being resilient.
The event is free and open to the public.
