Marquette – In celebration of March as Womens History Month, the film “Walk the Line” will be shown on Tuesday, March 19 at 6 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Released in 2005, the film is a chronicle of country music legend Johnny Cash’s life, from his early days on an Arkansas cotton farm to his rise to fame with Sun Records in Memphis, where he recorded alongside Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins. It is rated PG-13 and runs for 136 minutes.
Viewers are welcome to bring a take-out supper and enjoy this film series featuring Best Leading Actress Oscar winners portraying real women.
