Marquette, Mi.– Geoffrey Holstad, senior graphic designer at Patagonia Clothing, will visit NMU’s School of Art and Design this Wednesday and Thursday, April 25-26, to conduct a workshop and presentation.
- Wednesday: Holstad’s workshop, titled “Cutting Through the Static: Thoughtful Messaging Through Design and Creative Action,” will take place from 6:00- 8:00 p.m. in 290 Art and Design. (Discussing and sharing ideas surrounding sustainability in Marquette County). Free to attend but limited to 20 people.
- Thursday: A public artist talk will take place at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 26, in 165 Art and Design. Free and open to the public.
*Holstad is a plein air graphic designer and citizen meteorologist based in Ojai, California. In addition to his role at Patagonia, he serves on the Environmental Media Grants Council and is the co-founder and director of Cabin-Time, a roaming creative residency to remote places.
