Marquette – Afternoon Classic Films will offer a screening of “Jane Eyre” starring Orson Welles, Joan Fontaine and Margaret O’Brien on Monday, October 6 at 1:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Based on the 1847 novel by Charlotte Bronte, this romantic drama is about orphan Jane Eyre. After a harsh childhood, Jane is hired by Edward Rochester, the brooding lord of a mysterious manor house to care for his young daughter.
