Marquette – Vintage Cinema will present a screening of David Lean’s “Brief Encounter” starring Celia Johnson and Trevor Howard on Monday, May 4 at 1:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
This film is about a chance meeting which quickly blossoms into a deep,
but doomed, love affair. The film is based on Coward’s 1936 play
“Still Life.” Released in 1945, “Brief Encounter” is shown in black and white and runs for 86 minutes.
