Marquette – The Northern Michigan University Regional Police Academy will host informational meetings for those interested in attending the next academy. Individuals can select from two sessions: Monday, October 6, or Tuesday, October 7. Both will begin at 5 p.m. in room 132 of the NMU Jacobetti Complex and last about 45 minutes.
Topics include Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards requirements to enter the academy, NMU requirements, an overview of the academy and a question/answer session.
To register for a meeting, call 227-1408. The next NMU Regional Police academy runs May 4 through August 18, 2015.
