Calendar – Films/Documentaries – “Wind River” Screening at NMU – Nov. 11

Marquette – Northern Michigan University’s Campus Cinema, in partnership with the Center for Native American Studies, will present a screening of “Wind River” on Saturday, November 11 at 6 p.m. in 1100 Jamrich Hall at NMU.

In the film, a veteran tracker with the Fish and Wildlife Service helps to investigate the murder of a young Native American woman. The case is used as a means of redemption for an earlier act of irresponsibility, which ended in tragedy. The film stars Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Julia Jones and more. Running 1 hour and 51 minutes, it is rated R.

Attendance is free for NMU students and $1 for the public.
