Calendar – Films/Documentaries – “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” Screening – July 7

Marquette – Afternoon Classic Films will offer a screening of “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” on Monday, July 7 at 1:30 pm in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.

This Academy Award winning musical comedy is filled with rousing dance numbers set in 1850 Oregon, when a backwoodsman brings a wife home to his farm, his six brothers decide that they want to get married too. Released in 1954, the film is shown in color and runs for 102 minutes.
