Marquette – The Matinee Movie Series will offer a screening of “Gifted” on Thursday, September 7 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Frank Adler is a single man raising his niece Mary in a coastal Florida town. He wants nothing more than to provide her with a normal childhood which involves going to public school despite the fact that she is a mathematical prodigy. Frank’s mother, however, has greater ambitions for her granddaughter, and brings Frank to court to sue for custody.
This drama is rated PG-13 and runs 1 hour 41 minutes. Bring your own lunch and enjoy the movie in a dinner theater setting. Closed captioning will be on to ensure access for all.
