Marquette – The Building Hope in Uncertain Times Film Series will present “Sansara” on Monday, November 16 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
“Samsara” is a Sanskrit word that means “the ever turning wheel of life” and is the point of departure for this film that searches for the interconnection that runs through our lives. Filmed on 70 mm film over a period of five years and in twenty-five countries, this non-narrative documentary provides a stunning visual tour of sacred grounds, disaster zones, industrial sites, and natural wonders, allowing the viewer to explore the world through images and
music showing how our life cycle mirrors the rhythm of the planet.
“Sansara” is rated PG-13 and runs for 102 minutes. There is no admission charge.
