Afternoon Classic Film – Seven Brides for Seven Brothers – July 7th

Marquette, Michigan – Afternoon Classic Films presents a screening of “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” starring Jane Powell and Howard Keel on Monday, July 7 at 1:30 pm in the Peter White Public Library Community Room.

This Academy Award winning musical comedy is filled with rousing dance numbers set in 1850 Oregon, when a backwoodsman brings a wife home to his farm, his six brothers decide that they want to get married too.

Released in 1954, this five time Academy Award nominee, winning for best musical, is shown in color and runs for 102 minutes.
