2015 Holiday Art Sale, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 21

Marquette, MI – The City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center announces its 2015 Holiday Art Sale, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This holiday sale is open to all media: painting, photography, fibers, glass, jewelry, metals, wearable art, etc. Artwork for sale must be made by the artist. This is a juried show that will not accept any kit, import, country craft or resale items.  Applications are available online or can be picked up at the MACC, located at 217 N Front Street in the lower level of the Peter White Public Library.

To be considered for the jurying process artist are asked to submit the following:

Completed application, a self-addressed stamped envelope, six photographs of their artwork (these images must be a representative of what the artist will be selling) and cash or check with desired booth size and table rental total.

Please mail artist images along with the application and payment to the MACC mailing address at 300 W. Baraga Ave, Marquette MI 49855. E-mail submissions and incomplete applications will not be accepted. The application deadline will be Friday, Sept. 4, 2015. Failure to abide by the above criteria will result in immediate disqualification.

The MACC cannot guarantee artist that they will be receiving the same booth location as previous year participation. At this time there will be no double booths granted this year. Rejected applicants’ check or cash will be sent back by self-addressed envelope.
