Marquette – Shelly Edgerton, director of the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, will present “Michigan Medical Marijuana 101” on Wednesday, February 7 at 5 p.m. in 2904 West Science at Northern Michigan University.
Edgerton will address the history of medical cannabis in Michigan. She also will provide an overview of regulatory revisions underway, including the regulated licensing of large-scale growing operations, dispensaries, testing labs, processing facilities and secure transportation services.
