Marquette – Bill Bowerman will present “How the New Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement of 2012 Improves Protection of the Great Lakes” on Friday, September 21 at 3 p.m. in Mead Auditorium in the West Science Building at MNU.
A world-renowned expert on the study of eagles, Bowerman is chair of the department of environmental science and technology at the University of Maryland and a professor of wildlife ecology and toxicology. He is a native of Munising and also the recipient of NMU’s 2012 Distinguished Alumni Award, which will be presented to him Homecoming weekend.
The lecture is free and open to the public.
