Calendar – Education – Moccasin-Making Workshop – Registration Deadline – Nov. 2

Marquette – Northern Michigan University’s Center for Native American Studies will honor Native American Heritage Month with several activities in November. A “Walk Softly Moccasin-Making Workshop” with visiting Ojibwe artist Greg “biskakone” Johns will be offered on Saturday, November 5 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in 112 Whitman Hall at Northern Michigan University.

Participants will make moccasins. Materials will be provided and space is limited. Register in person by November 2 by 4 p.m. in 112 Whitman Hall.
