Calendar – Education – Author Eric Schlosser to Speak at NMU – Nov. 2

Marquette – Eric Schlosser, an investigative reporter for the “Atlantic Monthly” and the author of the best-selling book “Fast Food Nation,” will speak on Wednesday, November 2 at 7:30 p.m. in Room 1100 Jamrich Hall on the campus of Northern Michigan University.

Mr. Schlosser has also contributed to popular magazines such as “Rolling Stone” and “The New Yorker.” He has also appeared on various television programs including “60 Minutes,” “CBS Evening News,” “NBC Nightly News,” and “O’Reilly Factor.”

The event is free for students with an NMU ID and $2 for the general public. This event is sponsored by NMU’s Platform Personalities and the Student Activity Fee.
