Beaumier Center Hosts ‘Immigration Experience’ Exhibit – April 14

Marquette, Mich.– A new exhibit titled “The Immigration Experience” will open at the Beaumier U.P. Heritage Center in the Gries Hall, at NMU, on Saturday, April 14. An opening reception is scheduled for 1 p.m. and admission is free.

The exhibit explores the experiences of immigrants, from the first white settlers of the U.P. in the 19th century to the individuals and families coming to the area to make it their home in the 21st century.
