Calendar – Films/Documentaries – BYO Dinner Theater to Screen “By the Sea” – Aug. 16

Marquette – Film fans are invited to enjoy a bring your own meal film event for a screening of the romantic drama “By the Sea” on Tuesday, August 16 at 6 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.

Set in France during the mid-1970s, Vanessa, a former dancer and her husband Roland, an American writer travel the country together. They seem to be growing apart, but when they linger in one quiet, seaside town they begin to draw close to some of its more vibrant inhabitants, such as a local
bar/café-keeper and a hotel owner.

“By the Sea” is rated R and runs for 120 minutes. Viewers are welcome to bring their own takeout meal to enjoy in the dinner theater setting.
