Marquette – The Matinee Movie Series will offer a screening of the comic mystery
“Hail Caesar!” on Tuesday, August 16 at 12:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Written and directed by Ethan and Joel Coen, this film follows a day in the life of Eddie Mannix, a Hollywood fixer for Capitol Pictures in the 1950s, who cleans up and solves problems for big names and stars in the industry. But when studio star Baird Whitlock disappears, Mannix has to deal with more than just the fix.
“Hail Caesar!” premiered in Los Angeles in February 2016, runs for 104 minutes and is rated PG-13.
Matinee Movie welcomes the public to bring their own lunch and enjoy the movie in a dinner theater setting. Closed captioning will be on to ensure access for all.
