Marquette – Lake Superior Theater will present “Butterflies Are Free” Wednesday, August 16 through Sunday, August 19 at 7:30 p.m. each evening at the Frazier Boathouse/Lake Superior Theatre on Lakeshore Boulevard in Marquette. Matinees will be offered on Thursday, August 17 and Sunday, August 19 at 2 p.m.
This show blends comedy and drama with a sensitive touch to tell the story of Don, an intelligent young blind man struggling to establish his independence in the world. Don takes an apartment by himself against the wishes of his overbearing mother. With the help of his free-spirited next door neighbor Jill, Don works to break free of his mother and prove that he can make it on his own. Parental Guidance is suggested
