Marquette – The Northern Michigan University biology department has planned events around Charles Darwin’s birthdate. The PBS documentary, “Your Inner Fish” will be shown on Tuesday, February 9 at 7 p.m. in 1322 Jamrich Hall on the NMU campus.

Anatomist Neil Shubin takes a new look at evolution. Using fossils, embryos and genes, he reveals how human bodies are the legacy of ancient fish, reptiles and primates. A question and answer session with NMU biology faculty will follow the film. The event is free and open to the public.
