Calendar – Films/Documentaries – Afternoon Classic Films – May 7

Marquette – The Afternoon Classic Films will present the film “Great Expectations” on Monday, May 7 at 1:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.

The film is based on the Charles Dickens novel about a humble orphan who suddenly becomes a gentleman with the help of an unknown benefactor. The 1946 film was nominated for five Academy Awards, is shown in the original black and white and runs for 118 minutes.
