Calendar – Films/Documentaries – “Into the Wild” Film Screening – Nov. 20

Marquette – Peter White Public Library’s Film Club will offer a free screening of the modern classic film “Into the Wild” on Thursday,November 20 at 6:30 p.m. in the library’s Community Room.

This biographical survival film, written and directed by Sean Penn, is adapted from the book by Jon Krakauer. Based on the true story of the travels of top university student and athlete, Christopher McCandless across North America to spend his life in the Alaskan wilderness.

The film was released in 2007, is rated R and runs for 148 minutes. Light refreshments will be served.
