Michigan State University Extension offers Smart Gardening presentations at the Escanaba Kiwanis Noon Home & Garden Show, April 8-10th
Attend any or all ‘free’ smart gardening presentations to learn about more earth friendly and sustainable practices for your garden and yard.
Want to learn how to garden in small spaces or vertically? Garden smarter for pollinators? Learn about tools of the trade and season extension? Are you interested in gardening with children? Then you should plan to attend the free Smart Gardening presentations being offered throughout the Escanaba
Kiwanis Noon Home & Garden Show/Pancake Meal in Escanaba, MI on April 8 through the 10th. Presentations will be given by Michigan State University Extension staff, Michigan AgBioResearch staff, and other gardening professionals. Admission to the show is free.
The Escanaba Kiwanis Noon Home & Garden Show will be held at the Ruth Butler Building, 2401 12th Ave. N, Escanaba, MI 49829. This is on the UP State Fairgrounds. The show hours are Friday, April 8th from 5-9 p.m., Saturday, April 9th from 9-7 p.m., and Sunday, April 10th from 9-2 p.m. Michigan State
University Extension’s Smart Gardening informational booth will be open throughout the show.

**Throughout the show, create a bee hotel with your family. Take home and hang to help
native mason bees (non-stinging).**
