Calendar – Films/Documentaries – Matinee Movie Series to Screen “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies” – July 20

Marquette – The Matinee Movie series will offer a screening of “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies” on Monday, July 20 at 12:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.

The final installment of the trilogy based on J. R.R Tolkien’s book, this adventure/fantasy film continues the story of Bilbo Baggins and Company who are forced to engage in a war against an array of combatants and keep the Lonely Mountain from falling into the hands of a rising darkness.

The film was released in December 2014, is rated PG-13 and runs for 144 minutes. Matinee Movie welcomes the public to bring their own lunch or buy from the library cafe and enjoy the screening in a dinner theater setting. Closed captioning will be on to insure access for all.
