MARQUETTE, Mich. —The Beaumier U.P. Heritage Center at Northern Michigan University will hold the following March events as part of its “Cabin Fever Days” celebration:
Saturday, March 8: Coffee House Concert featuring Corrine Rockow and Papa Crow, 7 p.m. in the Peter White Lounge of the University Center. Admission is free.
Sunday, March 16: Curling workshop, 4-6 p.m. in the Berry Events Center. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for students. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 227-3212.
Sunday, March 16: St. Patrick’s Day Dance and Potluck at Dance Zone on Lincoln Avenue. Potluck begins at 6 p.m.; dancing follows from 6:30-8:30, with music by Clancy Ward and Sarah York, along with Tim Clancy, Tim DeMarte and Barb Rhyneer. Cost is $5 for adults and $2 for students.
Saturday, March 22: Folk Art Invitational, featuring demonstrations by artisans from throughout the Upper Peninsula. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Beaumier Center gallery, 105 Cohodas Hall. Admission is free.
