MARQUETTE, Mich. —The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will offer a tour of the new Chocolay Township Volunteer Fire Department facility from 1-3p.m. Friday, March 21. The 12,000 sq. ft. facility is located on U.S. Hwy 41 South and Silver Creek Rd.
The tour will include the fire trucks, tankers and the seven bays, information about the fire suppression/rescue apparatus and an overview of how and when certain pieces of equipment are used to respond to various types of emergencies.
The event is free for NCLL members and $5 for non-members. Pre-register by Thursday, March 13, by calling 227-2979.
