NCLL Offers Program on Creches December 5th

MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will host a program on collecting crèches, or models displaying the scene of Jesus Christ’s birth. The program runs from 7 – 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, in the Peter White Public Library community room.

NCLL member Carol Margrif and her husband, Fred, will lead the class. They will provide a tour of their personal crèche collection, which is an exhibit at the library from through Jan. 15. They will also discuss their experiences traveling the world collecting the creches.

There is no cost for NCLL members and a fee of $5 for non-members. Register by Friday, Nov. 29, by calling 227-2979.
