Marquette – DocuMonday will present a screening of “Earth” on Monday, August 6 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Narrated by James Earl Jones, this award winning film is a feature length version of the dazzling BBC series Planet Earth. The film provides a stunning look at the natural world showing whales cavorting in the oceans, rivers crashing down mountain-height waterfalls, the migratory patterns of several species and many other wonders. Underlying the beautiful images is the manmade damage being done to nature.
“Earth” was released in 2007. The documentary is rated G and runs for 90 minutes.
