Marquette – Afternoon Classic Films will present an all ages screening of “The Music Man” on Monday, August 4 at 1:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Based on the Broadway hit musical, a con man, Harold Hill, comes to a Midwestern town with a scam using a boy’s marching band program, but things go awry when he falls for a librarian he tries to divert from exposing his scheme, while inadvertently, enriching the town with a love of music.
