Marquette – DocuMonday will present a screening of “Honor Flight Michigan: The Legacy Documentary” on Monday, November 5 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Courtesy of Honor Flight Michigan and produced by Michiganders Gabe Downey and Jon Mellow, this documentary film tells the life stories of Michigan soldiers who served during WWII and chronicles their trip to the WWII memorial in Washington D.C.
Filmed interviews with local Honor Flight veterans by ABC TV 10 will be screened after the movie followed by a question and answer session about the upcoming Honor Flight with Barbara Van Rooy, Upper Peninsula Honor Flight Coordinator.
