Hancockc- The Nordic Film Series will offer a screening of “Hella W.” on Thursday, October 11 at 2 p.m. and at 6 p.m. at the Finnish American Heritage Center at Finlandia University in Hancock.
This film tells the story of famed playwright Hella Wuolijoki and her controversial actions meant to save Finland during the World War II era. There is Finnish language with English subtitles.
The event is free and open to the public.
