Arts Instructors Sought for Marquette Arts and Culture Workshop Series

The City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center invites instructors to apply for the fall 2012 Workshop series. The workshop series is open to all arts and culture related subjects; it has proven to be a great opportunity for instructors to share their talents with the community and make new contacts.

Due to public request, the Arts and Culture Center is especially looking for instructors in the following subjects: life drawing, children/teen drawing, sewing/fabric arts, ceramics or three-dimensional arts, voice lessons, ensemble music, music theory, and creative writing or poetry.

If interested in applying to teach a class, applications are available at the Arts and Culture Center, located in the lower level of the Peter White Public Library or at www.mqtcty.org/arts_workshops.html.  Applications are due by Friday, August 10, 2012 and weekly classes will begin the week of September 24, 2012.  Instructor pay is individualized per hour and applicants will be called to schedule a meeting with the Arts Programming Coordinator to discuss details.

Applications should be mailed or delivered to the Arts and Culture Center in the lower level of the Peter White Public Library. For more information or questions, please contact (906) 228-0472 or email arts-culture@mqtcty.org
