Marquette – Summer Cinema will host a screening of “Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close” on Tuesday, July 10 at 4:30 pm in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Starring Tom Hanks, Sandra Bullock, and John Goodman, this two time Oscar nominee is about a nine-year-old amateur inventor, jewelry designer, astrophysicist, tambourine player and pacifist, who searches New York for the lock that matches a mysterious key left by his father who died in the September 11 attacks.
The 2011 film is based on the novel by Jonathan Safran Foer, which was Marquettes 2007 One Book One Community Read. The film is rated PG-13 and runs for 129 minutes.
Summer Cinema features delicious library café specials by Tu Kaluthia available for purchase and recently released feature films in a dinner theater setting.
