Marquette – Sarah Derwin, Marquette County Health Department educator, will present “Prescription Drug Abuse in our County” on Wednesday, September 22 at 7 p.m. in Room C-108 of the Superior Dome at Northern Michigan University.
Derwin will talk about the scope of the problem in the Marquette area, which drugs are being abused, how individuals are obtaining them and what can be done to prevent it.
Cost is $4 for Northern Center for Lifelong Living members, $7 for others. Registration deadline is September 15; call Carol Margrif at 249-9975.
