The West End Health Foundation (WEHF) has opened the Spring 2020 cycle for grant proposals for Capital, Facilities and/or Equipment. Applications can be found at www.westendhf.org. The grant application deadline is April, 1, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. The application must be completed online and emailed to grants@westendhf.org.
The West End Health Foundation, formerly the Western Marquette County Health Foundation, was founded in 2014 as a result of the sale of Bell Hospital to LifePoint Hospitals. The Foundation is a 501 c 3 organization.
Priority funding areas are projects offered in the City of Ishpeming and Negaunee and the following Townships Champion, Ely, Humboldt, Ishpeming, Michigamme, Negaunee, Republic, Richmond and Tilden.
The WEHF opens applications for funding two times per year-Spring (Capital, Facilities and/or Equipment) and Fall (Programmatic). Non-profit organizations with IRS nonprofit certification can apply for one project per funding cycle. The grant range is $1,000 minimum to $10,000 maximum per organization. In some cases, a multi=year proposal will be accepted, but generally, requests should relate to projects that can be completed within one calendar year.
