SPRING TEA EVENT TEA TIME – Sunday, May 18th

ISHPEMING, MICHIGAN – The Ishpeming Historical Society will host a Spring Tea event at the historic Charles Byrns Home, located at 619 N. Fifth Street, Ishpeming, on Sunday, May 18, 2014.

Guests will tour this gorgeous Victorian home filled with magnificent cherry, oak, and pine woodwork, along with beautiful leaded glass windows. Everyone is encouraged to wear a hat and dress in their Sunday best attire to keep with the tradition of the era.

Savories, scones, and sweets, and teas will be served while guests view gardening ideas and wearable art. Guests may choose one of two time slots: 1PM or 4PM.

The cost for guests over age fifteen: $22.00

Tickets will be available beginning May 8th at Main Street Antique Mall, the Greater Ishpeming-Negaunee Area Chamber of Commerce, or by contacting the Historical Society president, Sue Boback at: (906) 486-8678.
