Marquette, Mich.– The Marquette Regional History Center presents “Explosion!: Negaunee’s Nitro-Glycerine Tragedy” this Wednesday, May 9, from 6:30- 8:30 p.m.
Bill Van Kosky’s fast-paced narrative describes in vivid detail what happened when three careless workers were loading 4,800 lbs. of unstable explosives into a boxcar, and the evolution of mining technology during the nineteenth century.
