Calendar – Education – “Iron Ore and the Civil War” at Michigan Iron Industry Museum – Aug. 3-4

Negaunee – “Iron Ore and the Civil War,” the Civil War encampment will be offered on Saturday, August 3 and Sunday, August 4 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day at the Michigan Iron Industry Museum in Negaunee Township.

Museum visitors will be treated to the sights and sounds of the Civil War during the two-day event, which features living history re-enactors and artillery demonstrations, along with period music, children’s games and food. Admission is free, but donations are encouraged.
