Marquette – The Cold War Film Series will offer a screening of the 1964 film “Seven Days in May” on Tuesday, January 16 at 7 p.m. in the Seminar Room of the Beaumier U.P. Heritage Center at Northern Michigan University.
Made in the wake of the Cuban Missile Crisis, this taunt thriller classic imagines a military coup in the U.S. and runs for 1 hour and 58 minutes. The film will be presented by Beaumier Center director, Daniel Truckey, and will be followed by a discussion.
Admission is free and popcorn will be available. The Center’s exhibition on the Cold War will be open for viewing until 6:45 p.m.
