Calendar – Community – “World War I Remembered” Grand Opening – Feb. 1

Marquette – The grand opening of “World War I Remembered” exhibitions at the Marquette Regional History Center and the Beaumier U.P. Heritage Center will take place on Wednesday, February 1. The coordinated open house receptions will start at the Beaumier U.P. Heritage Center from 5 to 7 p.m. and continue at the Marquette Regional History Center from 6 to 8 p.m.

Coffee and hors d’oeuvres will be provided, with savory WWI foods at the Heritage Center and sweet treats from WWI at the History Center. “World War I Remembered” will consist of dozens of public programs and exhibitions connected to the history of World War I and Upper Peninsula communities.
