Marquette – The Matinee Movie Series will offer a screening of “Southside With You” on Tuesday, January 17 at 12:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
This biographical romantic drama chronicles the summer 1989 afternoon when the future President of the United States of America, Barack Obama, wooed his future First Lady on an epic first date across Chicago’s South Side.
Filmed in Chicago, “Southside With You” is rated PG-13 and runs for 84 minutes. Matinee Movie welcomes the public to bring their own lunch or buy from the library cafe and enjoy the movie in a dinner theater setting. Closed captioning will be on to ensure access for all.
