Marquette – Film fans are invited for a free screening of the modern classic film “Invictus” on Thursday, December 15 at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Released in 2009, this inspiring biographical sports drama stars Morgan Freeman as Nelson Mandela, the new South African President, as he initiates a unique venture to unite the apartheid-torn land by enlisting the national rugby team on a mission to win the 1995 World Cup.
