Marquette – “The Gift of Water,” a presentation on the newly launched Northern Great Lakes Water Steward Initiative, will be held on Wednesday, October 19 at 6:30 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church, 305 W. Magnetic Street in Marquette.
This initiative is a four-year interfaith effort to monitor, preserve, protect and sanctify the Upper Peninsula’s streams and lakes. It will be seeking to ground our understanding and use of this natural resource in a deeper, more spiritual and mindful way. The program and dialogue will be facilitated by Rachel Holman, Frannie Belton, and Jon Magnuson.
