Marquette – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will present “A Kayaking Challenge Surrounding Finland” on Monday, June 27 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Filmmaker Frida Waara will talk about Finland’s Suomi Meloo, the world’s longest canoe-kayak relay. Waara and her daughter were the only Americans to participate in the 2003 challenge.
